Hotel Santa Chiara overlooks the Grand Canal, the Train Station and Piazzale Roma (the only part of Venice reachable by car). It’s also very close to the cruise terminal and few minutes by car from the Marco Polo airport. It is the only hotel in Venice with private parking (on request only)!!! It is few minutes walk from San Marco square (or few minutes by water bus, which stops almost in front of the hotel).
The area is full of attractions, Santa Croce is in the historical center. Facing Church of the Scalzi and the Church of San Simeon Piccolo, 10-minute walk from the hotel there are museums (natural history museum, Jewish ghetto, great school of San Rocco, big school of the Carmini, Ca 'rezzonico, etc .. .), churches (San Pantalon, San Simeone, Basilica dei Frari, church of San Rocco, church of the Carmini, church of the angel Raffaele ...), shops, restaurants and bars of all kinds and for all pockets.
How to get by car
From the A4 motorway exit, continue towards Venice. Once in Piazzale Roma (terminal) by car, the hotel is on the side of the Grand Canal.

How to get by train
From the square in front of the Santa Lucia station, take vaporetto nr. 1 or nr. 82, for Piazzale Roma, the stop is 30 meters from the Hotel. From the station it is also possible to arrive on foot in just 2 minutes.
